As Senior Project Manager, Tim Waters has carried out over 3,000 Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) on commercial, industrial and institutional sites. He was a lead assessor for Nav Canada’s acquisition of airport facilities in Alberta and British Columbia in the mid-1990s. In 2002, Tim led WA Environmental Services Ltd. in the assessment and remediation of over 50 abandoned gas stations as an accredited consultant with Alberta Municipal Affair’s “Tank Site Remediation Program.” He was also the project manager for a petroleum hydrocarbon spill assessment and remediation for Head-Smashed-in Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Alberta.

Tim’s common-sense approach has resulted in long-standing, trusted client relationships, including many corporations and municipalities.
As the owner of WA Environmental Services Ltd., Tim has consistently demonstrated his commitment and support of his community. He has mentored several junior environmental specialists as they applied for and attained membership in The Association of Science and Engineering Professionals of Alberta (ASET).
Tim’s volunteer experience includes Chairman of the downtown BRZ in Lethbridge, Council member for ASET, President of the Lethbridge Downtown Rotary Club, member of the Board of Governors for the University of Lethbridge and ASETs representative of Alberta Environment’s Competency Committee for Reclamation and Remediation.
